AFGHANISTAN RESIDENTS COMPLAIN ABOUT LIVING CONDITIONS
The meeting was held in TUT North Campus, in block H, Soshanguve. The purpose of the meeting it was to address the issue of water shortage, electricity blackout as well as unhealthy environment. The Councillor of ward 32 Wandile Makwatja, arranged the meeting on Monday to discuss further implications that have to be taken, for so the residences can understand the procedure to be followed to improve their living conditions.
The meeting got out of hand, when the residences thrown stones and chairs at the councillor till, he fainted and rushed to hospital.
Further investigations will be taken by the police.
No arrests have been made so far.
